General
conditions of contract
Reservation:
On receipt of the
signed contract and
a deposit, the reservation
is considered confirmed.
Price:
The prices are fully
inclusive of electricity,
water and heating.
The tenant, in addition
to the booking deposit,
must pay the outstanding
balance, the local
visitors tax and the
accommodation deposit
upon arrival.
In case of late arrival
without prior notification,
the Agency reserves
the right to cancel
the reservation two
days after the commencement
of the booking date.
Inventory
of fixtures:
An inventory of fixtures
and a remarks list
will be given to the
tenant upon arrival
and must be returned
completed to the Agency
within 48 hours. After
this time, no complaints
or compensation request
will be considered,
and the tenant liability
will become effective.
The tenant will be
responsible for the
following items;
+ To replace as new,
all broken or missing
items or objects
+ To pay for any damage
caused to the apartment
(walls, floors, ceilings
and décor…etc)
+ To leave the apartment
respectable, clean
and in perfect working
order. If cleaning
or repairs are deemed
necessary, a portion
of the deposit will
be withheld.
It is in breach of
the contract to move
furnishings between
apartments.
Occupation:
Tenants are requested
to respect the general
rules of the apartment
block and to observe
the 10.00 pm noise
ban.
In the event that
these rules are not
observed, the tenant
may be required to
vacate the apartment
immediately and the
deposit withheld.
Under no circumstances
may the apartment
be occupied by more
than the stipulated
number of persons
in the contract. Failure
to comply with the
above, will be seen
as a breach of contract
and any appropriate
action taken.
The agency reserves
the right to visit
the apartment at any
time during the period
of renting for need
of immediate repairs
or opportunities of
sale.
Insurance:
The agency declines
all responsibility
in cases of theft,
and any accident caused
by items of furniture
in the apartment.
The renter’s
insurance may not
hold any claim against
the owner or their
representative in
the event of accident
or incident. Clients
will be required to
sign a document stating
that they are in possession
of and holding full
travel insurance.
Cancellation:
If a cancellation
is received more than
8 weeks prior to the
date of arrival, the
remainder of the booking
deposit will be retuned
after deduction of
a small administrative
fee. If a cancellation
is received less than
8 weeks prior to the
date of arrival, the
booking deposit will
be forfeited and withheld
by the Agency. A cancellation
insurance is included
in the renting price
but may only used
in the event of a
serious situation.
Deposit:
Owing to the huge
number of departures
and arrivals of tenants
at the same time,
the agency is incapable
of checking the rented
premises together
with the tenant. However,
an inventory of fixtures
will be checked by
the Agency staff after
the tenant departure
and prior to the arrival
of incoming tenants.
To ensure that the
apartments are returned
in clean and respectable
condition at the end
of the rental period,
an accommodation deposit
is required upon authorization
of keys, acceptable
in the form of cheque
in Euros or credit
card (held but not
cashed) and will be
cut into shreds 10
days after date of
departure, with any
necessary deductions
for cleaning or damage.
If cost is greater
than the amount taken
as deposit, the client
will be invoiced directly
and the outstanding
balance settled immediately.
Should the client
wish, they may check
the apartment and
inventory with an
employee of the Agency
present, an appointment
must be made before
12.00 on Tuesday.
There will be a charge
of 12 Euros for this
service.
Legal
Judgments:
If for any reason
clients are unhappy
with the services
provided, all forms
of litigation or legal
judgment must be through
“Le tribunal
d’Albertville”
in the town of Albertville.
Collect
of keys
The apartment keys
may be collected by
the tenant upon arrival
between 5.00pm and
7.00 pm.
Should , (in exceptional
circumstances) the
tenant wish to take
possession of the
apartment after 7.00
pm then the following
procedure should be
followed.
+ The outstanding
balance of the rental
price and the guarantee
deposit must be paid
before the arrival
date.
+ On Saturday from
Christmas to Easter
advance notification,
the key of the premises
can be picked up at
the Tourist Office
from 7.00 pm to 1.00
am.
+ Please note that
this service will
only be provided with
advanced notification
to the Agency.
Return
of keys:
The tenant will receive
2 sets of keys. These
must be returned to
the Agency before
10.00 am the Saturday
morning of departure,
failure to do so will
necessitate duplicate
keys being cut and
the cost taken out
of the apartment deposit.
The apartment must
be vacated before
10.00 am on the morning
of departure, ensuring
the premises have
been left clean and
tidy, dishes cleaned
and put away, fridge
emptied and cleaned,
bins emptied, pillows
and blankets folded
and put away in cupboard
and floor cleaned.

2300 is open daily
from 9.00 am and 12.00
and 3.30 pm until
7.00 pm (Sunday from
4.30 pm until 7.00pm)
from Christmas to
Easter, except some
bank holidays.
